Hello to all my families and friends in the OSHC community.
Term 1 has certainly flown. During this term the children at After School Care have developed strong bonds that continue at School as well as at GCIT. They are a group of many talents who do not hesitate to utilize their problem solving skills, imagination, health and safety skills and social skills. Thank you for sharing this time we me and I look forward to seeing you in Term 2.
Vacation Care
Would you believe it is time to recuperate and join us for fun activities in Vacation Care. Meeting up with our friends from other schools is always exciting as we rekindled our friendships and make new friends.
We have a busy program for you to enjoy and I encourage everyone to bring their energy and imagination. I have included activities requested by the children and a few of my own. These activities encourage patience and perseverance as we create together.
Cookie Competition and Jelly Eating Competition are back by popular demand. The sandpit is waiting for volcanos to be made, villages to be designed and cooking to be enjoyed. I am waiting for my Chocolate milkshake. The posters are still here to create houses, shops and massage parlors.
Term 2
Term 2 starts on Monday 19th April. I have a book available for children to request an activity they wish to explore. Please encourage them to record their interest as School care is their time to relax and participate in activities of choice. I am always open to new ideas.
Have safe and happy holiday. I look forward to seeing you and hearing about holiday adventures.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you all soon
Paula
Reminder
As health and safety are an important lesson to teach the children, I ask you to please ensure your child has a hat for After School Care. (It does not have to be a school hat.) Sun cream is provided.
Please bring along your own Water Bottle.
Please bring a jumper as the afternoons can get a little cool.
When collecting your child/ren please sign them out on the roll and have them come say good bye so I know they are safe.
