Everlasting Daisies Room

Hi all, We would like to welcome Jack, Ava, Arkaydian, Alexander, Queenie and Maddix to Outside School Hours Care. It is wonderful to meet new faces with new ideas.

As After School Care is a time for the children to relax and participate in activities of interest. The children have shown an interest in origami by making flowers for Mother’s Day cards. They have enjoyed marble painting, making houses from donated posters, pillow surfing, bike riding, making clay, challenging each other in checkers, chess and handball. Exploring nature by building campfires with sticks, tidying up the yard and enjoying their friends company. They are growing fast and will soon be time to check how tall they have grown this year. I ask parents to become involved with the children. Maybe guide children through an interest they wish to share.

Vacation Care.
I would like to thank all children who requested activities for our next vacation care. I have tried hard to include as many as possible. Popular activities such as beading, nail and hair decorating and painting have been included along with decorating cupcakes, jelly eating competition and cookie eating competition. We will be trying our hand at experiments: and will be experimenting with
colours , recycling crayons to be used again and making a volcano. Craft includes:
Box construction, Suncatchers, Making Playdough to take home, Cherry Blossoms, Owl craft.
Yes boys I have also included WII fun. I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Reminder: As health and safety are an important lesson to teach the children, I ask you to please ensure your child has a hat when attending Outside School Hours Care. (It does not have to be a school hat.) Sun cream is provided.
Please bring along your own Water Bottle.
As the weather starts to turn cold please ensure children have warm clothes as it can get quite chilly throughout the day.
When collecting your child/ren please sign them out on the roll and have them come say good bye so I know they are safe.
