We offer before and after school care every day for children attending Bellevue Park State School. Our educators provide an engaging curriculum that offers age appropriate activities and experiences for the children attending. The curriculum is based upon “My Time, Our Place” which is part of the Early Years Frame Work.
By using this flexible framework it really encourages the children to learn through their play. This helps to ensure that each and every child is getting the most out of their time here, as they have the freedom to choose activities based up what they are interested in. There is a broad range of things that they are able to choose from such as board games, outdoor play and sports, creative experiences, and group activities to name a few.
We provide an atmosphere where our school children can relax and unwind, enjoy a shared meal together and discuss their days. By offering this natural setting it really encourages the children to explore nature and that is sometimes what they need after a busy day of learning at school. We find our school children can be inquisitive and with this in mind, we offer a large garden where we are growing vegetables that they can tend too, composting that they can help us with, or they can enjoy the yard with their friends. We also provide an undercover area which we utilise on rainy days.
We offer Vacation Care during the school holidays which are a firm favourite with our school children. During each holiday period there is a curriculum planned which offers a variety of activities and experiences to entertain each and every child.
Some of the activities that the children are able to participate in are make your own playdough, paper crafts, creating your own abacus, flowerpot creations, board games, Nintendo Wii games and dancing, riding bikes, climbing trees, a variety of different friendly competitions such as cooking or colouring. The children have the opportunity to use the props that we have to set up a variety of different activities that may continue on for the whole two weeks depending on the engagement. This is why it is so important for us to offer the flexible curriculum based upon their needs.

Kia Ora, Families!
I’m Mel and I’m so excited to be a part of your child’s learning journey. With nine years of experience in education, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse groups of children, helping them discover their potential and foster a love for learning.
Beyond my professional life, I’m also a proud Mama to teenage boy/girl twins, which gives me a unique and empathetic perspective on the joys and challenges of raising children. Being a Mother enriches my understanding of teaching.
My teaching philosophy is built on the belief that every child is a unique learner, deserving of an environment where they feel safe, valued, and empowered to explore. I’m passionate about creating a classroom where curiosity is celebrated, mistakes are seen as learning opportunities, and collaboration is key. I strive to nurture not just academic growth, but also the social and emotional well-being of each child, helping them develop into confident, compassionate, and resilient individuals.
I look forward to partnering with you to make this a wonderful and enriching experience for your child!

Camille
Graduate Diploma of
Early Childhood Education
Hello, my name is Camille. I’m from Taiwan and currently an international student in Australia. I recently completed a Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education and just started a Master of Teaching.
My background was in marketing, but after spending time caring for friends’ children, I discovered my passion for working with young children. I believe the early years have a powerful impact on children’s development, and I hope to be someone who can make a meaningful difference in their lives. As an educator, I believe in creating inclusive, play-based learning environments where children feel safe, confident, and supported. I also value building warm, respectful relationships with both children and their families. In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, having brunch, exploring coffee shops, and trying new things.
I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from all the amazing educators during my placement here and now be part of the team.
